Sr. Systems Engineer

Celebration Florida 34747 – Hybrid- 3 days in every week

USC, GC Only

Rate:- $73/HR W2(Without Benefits)

Job Description:

Required:

o Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting Automic Automation Engine or other enterprise job scheduling tools (e.g., JAMS) in an enterprise environment.

o Minimum 5 years background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

o Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) operating systems.

o Understanding of OS-level concepts and high-level infrastructure architecture.

o Self-starter with ability to take initiative and balance multiple priorities with minimal direction.

o Demonstrated strong communication and design skills, both verbal and written.

o Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ticketing tools.

o Familiarity with Confluence (or other documentation/wikis).

o Ability to diagnose simple to complex system and process problems.

o Demonstrated exceptional troubleshooting methodology, including the ability to communicate complex problems to all levels of technical skillsets.

o Automation mindset—always looking for opportunities to automate processes where possible.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:

o Prior maritime experience from a technology perspective.

o Expertise in Windows and Linux.

o Experience in user management via Active Directory.

o Strong skills in PowerShell or other scripting languages.

o Experience integrating with ServiceNow.

o Knowledge of enterprise monitoring solutions.

o Background in large-scale environments with multiple Automic instances.

o Terraform/AWX/Vault/Ansible

o Logging/Monitoring/Alerting (Cloudwatch/Splunk/AppDynamics/Elasticache/Grafana)

o Windows Server, Linux (RHEL)

o PowerShell, bash

o Jira, Confluence

o Active Directory

o Languages: Go/Python/ Node.js (Angular.js framework)/Java (Spring MVC)

Responsibilities:

o Design, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, and implement Automic workflows supporting critical business processes.

o Review and optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.

o Support migration of workflows from deprecated on-prem instances to cloud platforms.

o Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and bash to improve operational efficiency.

o Collaborate with teams to integrate workflows with ServiceNow and expand monitoring capabilities.

o Document processes and workflows thoroughly for consistency and compliance.

o Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in job scheduling and automation.
