About You

We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with full-stack experience, with a focus on backend development, who is excited to help shape and scale a fast-growing product.

About the role:

In this role, you will:

Contribute to Equali’s technical and product evolution as we scale.
Build and enhance the full stack: integrate with external systems (e.g. payment providers, ERPs), expand backend services, contribute to the frontend dashboard, and develop our infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with customers, internal teams and external partners to ensure the product solves real problems and delivers clear value.
Work with the team to deliver new features from design through to deployment and monitoring.

What we’re looking for

Passion for building customer-centric products in a fast-paced environment.
Software development experience with Python and Django in a professional environment.
Some understanding of AWS services - ideally including S3, Transfer Family, EC2 and RDS.
Experience across the full software development lifecycle (design, build, testing, deployment).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and confidence interacting with customers and partners.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
