Graduate Software Engineer – Renewable Energy

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for software engineering and an interest in clean energy? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Software Engineer to join a forward-thinking company in the renewable energy sector.

This role offers hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and the chance to make a real impact in the transition to sustainable energy. You’ll be part of a collaborative team developing automation tools and software solutions that directly support the design, engineering, and operation of solar mounting systems.

What you’ll be doing

Designing, developing, and maintaining automation tools and applications.
Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code (Python, C#, JavaScript, or VBA).
Working closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.
Debugging, testing, and optimising code for performance and reliability.
Supporting workflows through custom scripts, dashboards, and data analysis.
Continuously learning and applying best practices in software development and automation.

What we’re looking for

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, C#, JavaScript, or VBA).
Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, including data structures and debugging.
Interest in renewable energy and applying technology to drive sustainability.
Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and effective communication.
Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new tools and technologies.
Right to work without a VISA now or in the future
