Junior Software Engineer – Hull – £30,000

Your Role:

As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and systems engineers to design, develop, and maintain modern software applications.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the team to understand user needs and build effective solutions.
Write, maintain, test, and document clean, reliable code.
Play a key role in developing and improving our platforms, tools, and services.
Be involved in the full development lifecycle, from design to production deployment.

We are looking for someone with:

1+ years’ experience in a similar development role.
A degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in C#.NET, SQL, RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, including modern JavaScript frameworks.
A passion for learning, problem-solving, and working collaboratively.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Desirables:

Experience with Azure/AWS
Unit testing experience.
