About Grace

Grace builds the technological and operational infrastructure that enables luxury brands to offer integrated post-purchase protection services to their clients.

We operate protection programs across Europe on behalf of leading luxury houses, combining technology, data and insurance expertise to deliver simple and reliable customer experiences.

Grace is a fast-growing company with a strong product and execution culture, where teams work closely across disciplines. We value ownership, clarity, and the ability to translate complex topics into simple, actionable solutions for both partners and end clients. We operate with long sales cycles, high stakes and complex decision-makers, where credibility and trust are key to closing.

We are now structuring our insurance division internally and are hiring a Head of Insurance to take ownership of this domain and build a scalable foundation for our next stage of growth, while playing a direct role in driving strategic commercial outcomes.

Role Overview

The Head of Insurance owns the design, economics, negotiation, execution and long-term performance of all insurance programs operated by Grace.

This role is responsible not only for running and consolidating existing insurance solutions, but also for building and structuring the internal insurance division, improving conditions over time, and defining standards, processes and operating models as Grace scales across brands, countries and insurance partners.

The role is central to the company. It embodies Grace externally with insurers and brand risk managers, while acting internally as the technical insurance reference. In addition, the role carries direct commercial responsibility on strategic accounts, where insurance structure, credibility and negotiation are decisive to deal closure. The Head of Insurance works closely with commercial, product, tech and legal teams, and combines deep technical authority with a strong closing instinct.

Key Responsibilities

1. Insurance Programs and Performance

Consolidate, run and continuously improve insurance programs operated by Grace for luxury brands.
Review and monitor policies in place, coverage scope, limits, exclusions and documentation, in coordination with insurers and legal counsel.
Negotiate and improve terms and conditions over time, based on program performance, loss experience and strategic objectives.
Monitor claims activity, loss ratios and sinistrality, and propose structural or pricing adjustments when needed.
Ensure programs are operationally robust, scalable across geographies and aligned with client expectations.

2. Insurer and Risk Manager Relationships

Act as the primary owner of all insurer and broker relationships.
Lead insurer selection, stimulate constructive competition and structure scalable partnership frameworks.
Coordinate program launches, renewals, endorsements, extensions and international rollouts.
Establish structured reporting, governance and escalation processes with insurance partners.
Build trusted, senior-level relationships with brand risk managers and act as Grace’s insurance representative toward clients and prospects.

3. Commercial Ownership and Deal Leadership

Own and drive selected strategic deals end-to-end, from early structuring discussions to contract signature.
Act as the lead commercial counterpart on insurance-driven negotiations with luxury brands.
Represent and explain Grace’s insurance architecture to client legal, risk and finance teams, with the objective of removing blockers and accelerating decision-making.
Translate client needs into clear, pragmatic and commercially viable insurance structures.
Contribute directly to closing complex deals where insurance is a critical decision factor, in close coordination with the broader commercial team.

4. Product, Tools and Internal Enablement

Act as the internal insurance reference with strong pedagogical skills for commercial, legal, product and operational teams.
Help commercial teams sharpen their understanding, positioning and negotiation of insurance topics.
Work closely with product and tech teams to develop tools (app, automation, data, AI or other internal tools) that translate insurance logic into simple, user-facing experiences for non-expert users.
Contribute to the design of client-facing and internal interfaces, ideally leveraging prior experience in interface or product development within an insurer or broker environment.

Experience

5 to 10 years of experience in corporate or affinity insurance, within an insurer or a global broker.
Proven experience structuring, negotiating and running insurance programs for corporate clients.
Demonstrated involvement in complex commercial discussions or deal closures, ideally in environments with long sales cycles and senior stakeholders.
Comfortable working with client legal, operations and risk management teams.
Prior exposure to international program coordination is a strong advantage.
