We’re Hiring: Data Developer / Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Developer / Data Engineer to join a modern data platform team working with Azure and Microsoft Fabric. This is a long-term opportunity within a data-driven environment.

Location: Charleroi, Belgium

Contract: 1 year (renewable)

Role Overview

You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable data solutions using Azure Data services and Microsoft Fabric, supporting both analytical and operational use cases.

Responsibilities

Develop data ingestion pipelines using Fabric Data Factory (Azure Data Factory knowledge required)
Build and maintain data transformation processes using Fabric Notebooks
Optimize queries with a strong focus on performance and Azure cost efficiency
Contribute to Lakehouse data modeling
Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Silver & Gold layers)
Define, execute, and maintain unit test plans (automation is a plus)
Participate in development effort estimation and solution design
Produce clear and structured technical documentation
Contribute to development guidelines and continuous improvement
Support production maintenance and incident resolution

Your Profile

Strong experience with Azure Data technologies
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Notebooks, Lakehouse)
Knowledge of secure development best practices
