Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in delivering efficient and effective human resources services. This role assists with day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee support, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable policies and laws.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer documentation

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employee files, coordinating orientation, and collecting required documentation

Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

Assist with payroll preparation by tracking attendance, leave, and employment changes

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures

Support performance management processes, including documentation and scheduling reviews

Assist in administering employee benefits, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodations

Prepare HR reports, letters, and other documentation as required

Help ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and HR best practices

Support HR projects, audits, and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices

Strong organizational and time-management skills

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
