Duration: 6+ Months Contract (High Posibility of Ext) Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with strong DevOps and automation expertise to help operate and mature a large-scale cloud platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, securing, and supporting AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes, while working closely with Agile teams. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate scalable AWS cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on automation and reliability
Manage AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, transit gateways, and Route 53
Implement and manage IAM identity-based and resource-based policies, RBAC, and SSO integrations
Support and troubleshoot platform issues using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Deploy, manage, and support EKS and Kubernetes clusters in production environments
Collaborate with Agile teams using Scrum/Kanban practices across sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience as an AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer
Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, Networking, and Security best practices
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI, or Harness
Experience managing EKS and Kubernetes clusters
Working knowledge of AWS Glue, Redshift, and RDS (MS SQL)
Experience with centralized logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk)
Strong Git management and version control practices
Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum & Kanban) methodologies Nice to Have
Experience with Harness
Exposure to large-scale, enterprise AWS environments
Experience operating platforms at scale with a Site Reliability mindset
