Summary
Performs a variety of professional technology and cybersecurity support tasks in one or more areas of the assigned office; documents end user requirements and participates in system, software, and/or security testing to ensure that organizational needs and goals are met; assists in developing process and procedures; collaborates across teams to support implementation, integration, security, and/or update initiatives; diagnoses and resolves basic system, software, and security issues; generates reports and queries that provide insights into data.
Qualifications
Required
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity with courses in a field related to the assigned office.
One (1) year of related work or internship experience.
Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
Knowledge of principles, concepts, and methods of technology and its most effective and efficient utilization to support the functions of the assigned organization or clientele.
Knowledge of common technology and/or security tools.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
Ability to develop and design reports and manage data.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Major Duties/Essential Functions
Assists with information technology (IT) and/or cybersecurity tasks to support daily operations and maintain system functionality under the guidance of senior staff.
Supports the design, development, and implementation of basic technology or security solutions to meet end-user needs, with oversight from experienced team members.
Gathers functional requirements and participates in testing systems, software, or security updates, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
Supports hardware, software or security system implementations, ensuring proper integration and security protocols are followed.
Prepares clear, non-technical documentation to support user understanding of software, systems, security protocols, and processes.
Assists in updating IT and security policies and procedures; identifies opportunities for improvement in workflow to drive efficiency.
Manages user accounts and assists in maintaining cybersecurity standards to protect organizational data.
Generates reports and manages data, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Collaborates across teams and other departments to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Contributes to maintaining a secure and efficient technology environment.
Conducts industry research and runs reports and queries to support business operations and decision-making.
Provides training to end-users on various tools, systems, security processes, and protocols.
Researches, diagnoses, and resolves basic IT and/or cybersecurity issues, escalating complex issues to senior team members.
Participates in ongoing training and professional development to expand knowledge and stay current with technology trends and best practices.
Performs related duties as required or assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
