We are seeking an experienced C# .NET Developer for a 12-month Inside Ir35 contract to support the delivery of scalable, high-quality applications. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of business-critical systems within an Agile environment managed through JIRA.

This role suits a contractor who is immediately available and can quickly add value while working collaboratively with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders. Previous experience in banking is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core.
Design and consume RESTful APIs and services.
Work with SQL Server and data-driven applications.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
Experience with Web APIs, MVC, and/or Microservices.
Solid SQL and database design knowledge.
Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
Comfortable working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Cloud experience (especially Azure).
Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
DevOps tooling and automation.
Unit and integration testing experience.
