Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid. 3 days per week

Purpose of the Job
As an Application Tester, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of software applications. Your expertise will help shape testing strategies, where you'll design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security across various platforms. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will identify defects early and streamline the release process.
Key Responsibilities:
Test JRIE applications developed primarily using MS.NET C# with SQL Server or Oracle databases.
Understand business requirements and create comprehensive test plans, writing and executing test cases.
Perform functional and non-functional testing using Azure DevOps, XRAY, and JIRA, including defect tracking and management.
Conduct regression, functional, emergency change, and defect testing across production systems.
Engage in API testing, data validation, and batch process testing to ensure end-to-end system integrity.
Design and maintain a test results dashboard to provide real-time insights into project status and quality metrics for stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business users in London and other European branches to ensure business requirements are met while supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
Work alongside production support, release management, and change teams for robust QA delivery.
Identify and manage suitable testing environments and test data for system testing.
Execute regression tests for monthly/weekly releases and hotfixes to ensure core system functionality remains intact.
Requirements:
Essential:
University graduate level with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
Proven experience in application testing, including automation and manual testing.
Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and MS .NET Framework environments.
Experience in API, Middleware, Batch, and Data processing testing.
Desirable:
Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR) and data warehouse testing.
