Java Developer – Spring Boot & AWS

London (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Contract (3-Months)

A leading technology‑driven organisation is looking for an experienced Java Developer with deep expertise in Spring Boot and AWS to join a high‑performing engineering team. This is an opportunity to work on modern, cloud‑native platforms that power large‑scale, business‑critical systems.

What you’ll be working on

Designing and building scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Developing cloud‑native solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
Contributing to architecture decisions and best engineering practices
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment
Ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across services

What you’ll bring

Strong commercial experience with Java (8+)
Hands‑on expertise with Spring Boot and microservices
Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud‑native development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
Knowledge of REST APIs, event‑driven systems, and distributed architectures
A proactive mindset and passion for clean, maintainable code
