Job Title: Business Analyst – Supply Chain Transformation

Location: 100% On-Site, Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months, potential extension

Our client's Supply Chain Transformation team is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Analyst with strong project management expertise. This role is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of process and data management in hardware development, particularly in prototype environments. The successful candidate will combine analytical skills with project leadership to optimize processes, streamline data flows, and deliver impactful solutions across complex systems.

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years delivering new system capabilities as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, including 3+ years in the hardware industry.
3+ years of agile project management experience, with proven ability to drive IT/business problems to closure in fast-paced environments.
Strong expertise in tracing processes through systems and recommending effective data management strategies.
Deep understanding of product parts and hierarchy, and their role in data management.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
Background in analyzing and cleaning large datasets.
Experience in the high-volume consumer electronics industry.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

Responsibilities

Process & Data Analysis: Develop and implement end-to-end strategies for process and data management in hardware development and supply chain operations.

Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and track initiatives to ensure timely delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.

Product Master Data (PLM): Apply knowledge of product parts, hierarchy, and PLM systems to inform process and data decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, supply chain, and IT teams to drive process improvements and data-driven results.

Requirements & Solution Design: Define functional requirements and create detailed solution designs aligned with business needs.

System & Data Tracing: Map processes across systems, recommend data management strategies, and ensure accuracy and completeness.

Optimization & Strategy: Identify opportunities for near and mid-term improvements while contributing to long-term strategic planning.

Documentation & Training: Develop reference materials and educational content to support internal teams.
