Job Title: DevOps Platform Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a DevOps Platform Engineer where you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining secure SaaS offerings for projects with U.S. Government-related compliance. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with a team of developers to create innovative solutions that fulfill our customers' missions. The primary focus of this role is to create infrastructure and implement DevOps practices for ongoing Federal projects, including automating processes, managing CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing the developer experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain infrastructure for Federal projects with a focus on security and compliance.
Automate processes and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, TravisCI, and CircleCI.
Implement application logging and monitoring to ensure system reliability.
Enhance the developer experience by building and interacting with complex APIs.
Collaborate with a team of developers to create and adapt solutions to meet customer missions.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering with a focus on cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Containers.
Proficiency with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for managing cloud deployments, with AWS preferred.
Extensive programming and scripting experience, preferably in Python, or proficiency in another programming language.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Must be a sole U.S. Citizen due to nature of work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS services such as IAM, EKS, and S3.
Experience with Docker and container management.
Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, or Angular is a plus.
Work Environment
The position offers flexibility with a preference for candidates located in the DMV area, but is open to 100% remote work or working from any of the company's locations. You will be part of a supportive team that values innovation and collaboration, working with cutting-edge technologies in a secure environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
