Network Engineering Intern

The Network Engineering team is seeking a passionate and motivated intern to join us in person. In this full-time, 12-week internship, you’ll contribute to projects focused on developing tools that automate operational tasks currently handled manually by the Network Operations team. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with service provider networks purpose-built for AI.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Gaining a foundational understanding of production networks and their complexities
Learning about common operational challenges faced by Network Operations teams and identifying opportunities for automation
Designing and developing tools to streamline network operations
Collaborating with the Tools and Observability team to understand how production-scale tools are built and maintained

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and the networking stack
Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Golang, C/C++, or similar, with a focus on automation
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, along with a fast-learning and adaptable mindset
Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of Fall 206 or Spring 2027
