Job Description:

The Developer will work on end-to-end (E2E) delivery of banking applications with a strong focus on Java-based microservices architecture. The role involves not only development but also post go-live maintenance and support. The ideal candidate is customer-facing, has strong analytical and Agile experience, and is comfortable working in a large corporate environment while remaining self-driven and independent.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using microservices architecture
Deliver E2E solutions, including post go-live maintenance and support
Develop and consume Web Services (REST and SOAP)
Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Deploy applications and manage repositories in Azure DevOps
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
Engage with customers and stakeholders as required
Analyze technical and functional requirements and summarize key insights
Ensure timely delivery through strong project and time management

Essential Skills & Experience

10+ years of overall IT development experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Java 8 or higher
Spring Boot
Microservices architecture
REST & SOAP Web Services
Strong experience with Azure DevOps (deployments, repositories, code reviews)
CI/CD pipeline experience using tools such as Jenkins
Good understanding of Git concepts
Experience with Maven build tool
Working knowledge of Docker concepts
Hands-on experience with IDEs such as Eclipse and IntelliJ
Strong Agile/Scrum experience
Banking domain experience is mandatory
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
