We are looking for a Ground Test Run up Engineer to come onboard in our Engineering/ Flight Test Directorate in Céline ’s team EVP : a team of 12 collaborators!
Your Mission
The EVP department, Prototype Flight Line, is a department of ATR Engineering, in charge of implementation of the modification (aircraft and system) and their associated flight and ground test means, as well as the continuing airworthiness of the two ATR prototypes.
The Ground Test Run up Engineer missions
Line maintenance:
Participate in coordinating the actions required to prepare the aircraft (pre and post flights check, ballast configuration, refueling operations...)
Debrief with the flight crew after flights to assess aircraft status (any failure, problems encountered..)
Ensure the traceability of operations in the EVP IT tool MIS & E-TLB
Perform the avionics database update
Perform troubleshooting and aircraft repair or release the aircraft under MMEL
Scheduled maintenance & Additional works:
Participate in the Working Party organization meeting with aircraft manager and Technical Office
Monitor maintenance operations, perform double inspection of the critical tasks
Perform avionics, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and anemometric tests, as well as Maintenance Tasks (MP)
Assess additional work in coordination with the Technical Office
Perform troubleshooting and aircraft repairs
Experimental croquis
In coordination with EVI and Design Office (DO) department, analyze the feasibility of the flight test installation and the tests’ contents
In coordination with the EVP Technical Office, support EVI/DO department by providing an overview of the aircraft systems, mechanical constraints, technical and maintenance aspects.
Load developing software, and perform associated ground checks and tests
Create the avionics configurations requested by the Flight Test crew or DO
Analyze and test the Maintenance Procedures in collaboration with the DO
Ensure and verify the restoration of the aircraft configuration after tests
Perform operational test on prototype systems
Run up and Tests
Perform run up after working parties or modifications
Perform run up after engine storage
Perform run up for Power assurance check and Ground run performance
Work in collaboration with GTE to apply GTR
Train technicians in internal systems and procedures (new equipment, line check)
Write test reports and parameters measurement reports
Verify and sign the aircraft Definition Note to release the aircraft after configuration changes
About You
Level Bac +2/+3 in aeronautics
ATR42/72 Type Qualification is a plus
EASA Part 66 License is a plus
Experience in flight test activities
Experience in Maintenance activities (Part 145) and troubleshooting
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ATR systems
Knowledge of ATR internal standard
Ability to adapt to technical changes and system evolutions
Fluent in English and French
IT skills: knowledge of
