65-70K€ base + variable

A fast growing B2B SaaS scale-up is hiring a Platform Engineer to join its core infrastructure team and take ownership of critical data and storage systems used at very large scale.

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on reliability, scalability and automation of production data platforms.

What you will work on

Designing and operating large scale data storage systems (Postgres, MongoDB, ClickHouse, etc.)
Automating infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform and Ansible
Performance tuning, monitoring and capacity planning for critical systems
Owning backup, disaster recovery and high availability strategies
Diagnosing and resolving production incidents impacting data systems
Improving CI/CD and deployment pipelines for infrastructure
Working closely with product and engineering teams on architecture decisions
Documenting systems and contributing to platform best practices

What they are looking for

Strong experience operating production databases or storage systems
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL engines such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, ScyllaDB, etc.
Solid Linux fundamentals
Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar
Strong understanding of backup, recovery, resilience and reliability
Comfortable troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
Curious, pragmatic, and able to take ownership of critical systems
