Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate Product Manager to join a high-performing marketing team within the medical devices / healthcare technology sector. This is a 12-month full-time contract role, offering a hybrid working model with regular attendance at a UK head office in Burgess Hill, West Sussex (typically 2 days per week, with flexibility for the right candidate).
This position is ideal for an early-career marketing or product professional looking to develop hands-on experience in product marketing, portfolio support, and cross-functional collaboration
Reporting into a Portfolio or Marketing Lead, the Associate Product Manager will support the execution of marketing strategies and tactical plans for an innovative healthcare product portfolio, including near-patient care and chronic disease solutions. You will work closely with Product Managers to help drive adoption, manage campaigns, and support product lifecycle activities.
This role offers exposure to product launches, campaign execution, stakeholder engagement, and healthcare marketing best practices, with opportunities to build subject-matter expertise within assigned products.
Key Responsibilities
Support Product Managers with day-to-day product marketing and product management activities
Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactical action plans aligned with business objectives
Coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns, product initiatives, and conference/trade show activities
Track campaign performance, analyse outcomes, and provide recommendations for future activity
Build strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, commercial, and internal teams
Take ownership of assigned portfolio and product management responsibilities
Develop expertise as a subject matter expert for allocated products within the portfolio
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
Experience supporting marketing or product-related activities within a structured, commercial environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, commercial, and internal stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills suited to a professional, multi-disciplinary environment
Willingness and ability to attend the Burgess Hill office as required
Full UK right to work (no sponsorship available)
Desirable / Preferred Experience
Exposure to medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare marketing
Experience supporting product launches, marketing campaigns, or conference/trade show activity
Understanding of, or interest in, diabetes care or chronic disease management
Familiarity with product lifecycle or portfolio management concepts
Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
