Technical Business Analyst – Software Delivery
We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a fast‑paced software delivery environment, working at the intersection of business, technology, and engineering.
This is a hands‑on, technically focused BA role where you’ll shape requirements, influence solution design, and support end‑to‑end delivery across complex digital products.
What you’ll be doing
Act as the link between business stakeholders and engineering teams, turning business needs into clear, build‑ready technical requirements
Work across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery through to delivery and go‑live
Produce high‑quality artefacts including process flows, sequence diagrams, functional designs, business rules, and backlog items
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, UX/UI, testers, and product to shape practical, scalable solutions
Identify technical dependencies, constraints, risks, and business impacts across multiple workstreams
Support delivery through testing activities, including script reviews, defect triage, and query resolution
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help prioritise backlogs based on value, risk, and dependencies
Support business readiness for change, including operational readiness, comms, and training inputs
What we’re looking for
1.5–5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or software delivery environment
Strong experience operating as a technical BA, not purely business‑facing
Solid understanding of APIs, databases, system integrations, and architecture concepts
Comfortable working with cross‑functional delivery teams (engineering, product, UX, DevOps, architecture)
Proven ability to analyse complex problems and shape workable, delivery‑focused solutions
Senior / Consultant‑level experience (desirable)
Ability to operate independently in high‑impact, customer‑facing environments
Experience leading requirements elicitation and solution shaping end‑to‑end
Confidence working closely with solution and technical architects
Experience coaching or mentoring junior BAs
Strong grasp of BA tools and techniques, with evidence of innovative problem‑solving
A track record of successful delivery, stakeholder engagement, and driving change
