Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PAM Engineer to support and maintain our privileged access management platforms. The role focuses on PAM implementation, administration and support, ensuring secure access, compliance, and smooth user experience across the organization.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with 5+ years of hands-on Privileged Access Management (PAM) engineering experience
Strong expertise designing, implementing, and supporting PAM solutions for Workforce and Vendors in enterprise environments
SME for platform upgrades, migrations, and major re-architecting work
Recommend PAM security standards and configuration baselines
Management of NHI, enforcing administrative tiering (Tier 0/1/2 models), platform hardening
Hands-on experience with one or more leading PAM platforms, such as:
CyberArk
Delinea
HashiCorp Vault
Strong understanding of privileged access concepts, including:
Credential vaulting and rotation
Privileged session management (PSM)
Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA)
Break-glass and emergency access
Experience securing privileged access across:
Windows and Linux servers
Databases
APIs
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
PAM onboarding playbooks for new systems
Platform health monitoring & KPI dashboards
Experience integrating PAM solutions with IAM/SSO platforms (e.g., Okta, Entra ID)
Experience implementing PAM controls in high-availability, production environments
Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Javascript
Strong troubleshooting skills for access failures, session issues, and credential rotation
Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST)
Experience supporting audits, and access reviews related to privileged access
Ability to design controls that enforce least privilege and reduce attack surface
Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and SIEM integrations
Preferred Qualifications
Vendor-specific PAM certifications (e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, HashiCorp)
Experience with Zero Trust security architectures
Experience with cloud-native PAM and secrets management
Prefer Healthcare culture Experience
Experience integrating PAM with ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
Exposure to Identity Governance Administration (IGA) tools (SailPoint, Saviynt)
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain security risks and PAM concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to lead PAM architecture and design discussions
Experience mentoring junior engineers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-security environment
