We are seeking a high-level Senior Business Operations Specialist to lead budget and headcount management for two critical Engineering client groups. Reporting to a Program Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to General Managers, overseeing fiscal year planning, resource allocation, and complex financial reporting.

This is not just a "spreadsheet" role; we are looking for a candidate who can synthesize financial data into executive-ready narratives, predicting overruns and offering strategic solutions to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight: Manage and track team spend, including quarterly forecast cycles, monthly close reporting, and accruals.
Headcount Strategy: Partner with GMs and organizational headcount teams to prioritize incremental and backfill requests.
Project Management: Maintain project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budgets while ensuring purchase orders are opened on time and aligned with forecasts.
Controls & Compliance: Approve project expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and ensure all costs align with the established budget.
Executive Communication: Translate complex financial data into clear, concise stories for leadership presentations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
Technical Mastery: Hands-on, end-to-end budget management of complex, large-scale budgets and concurrent headcount management.
Communication: Proven ability to present insights to executive leadership and manage high-level stakeholder expectations.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze business trends and apply mathematical principles to project future expenses.

Preferred Skills

Microsoft Experience: Previous experience managing budget or finance within Microsoft systems is strongly preferred.
Allocation Rules: Knowledge of managing allocation rules is a significant plus.
Enterprise Applications: Proficiency with Enterprise-level financial applications and the Microsoft Office Suite (Expert-level Excel).

Why Apply?

This role offers the opportunity to influence the operational strategy of a global engineering organization from a fully remote setting. You will be provided with a standard equipment package (laptop, mouse, headset, and extra monitor) to ensure your success from day one.
