Role Description

Develop and maintain backend services for a modern financial product using Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Kafka/Azure Event Hubs on Azure. Work with senior engineers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance services while learning cloud-native and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Java 8+ REST APIs using Spring Boot
Develop microservices and implement patterns like Circuit Breaker and Saga
Integrate event-driven services using Kafka/Azure Event Hubs
Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and quality improvements
Collaborate with QA and DevOps on CI/CD pipelines
Assist in troubleshooting defects and performance issues
Participate in Agile ceremonies

Skills

Java 8+, OOP, SOLID, Spring Boot
Microservices architecture
Kafka / Azure Event Hubs
CI/CD, Docker, basic Kubernetes knowledge
