We’re Hiring: Salesforce Developer – Commercial Banking

Located in Toronto- Hybrid 2 days a week

Pay range is between $90-$95 per hour on INC.+HST

One of our leading banking clients is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their Commercial Banking Engineering team. This group oversees key changes and

implementations supporting commercial client programs across the organization.

What You’ll Do (Typical Day in the Role)

Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for developers and programmers
Act as a liaison between the business community and IT teams
Support highly complex business processes across multiple projects
Read and write SQL queries
Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions
Apply strong business knowledge to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities

Must-Have Qualifications

10+ years of Salesforce Development experience
At least 1 recent project using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
Strong financial services background (banking or large insurance preferred; telco/marketing cloud profiles not ideal)
2+ years of experience with Salesforce tools across the SDLC (e.g., Salesforce DX)
Proven experience with system integrations (on-prem systems, Azure, APIs, real-time connectivity, ETL tools)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with nCino Credit Origination (Salesforce managed package)
Knowledge of Oracle Stored Procedures

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
