Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000 annually (Exempt)
(This range reflects the expected base salary. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Eligible for bonus and/or incentive compensation.)

Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role for a Director of Sales Marketing at Embassy Suites - La Jolla, located in San Diego, CA. The Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of sales strategies, develop and maintain client relationships, support business development efforts, and lead the sales team to meet and exceed targets. Key responsibilities include monitoring sales operations, identifying market opportunities, managing large-scale accounts, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Operations to strategize, plan, and execute successful initiatives
Strong guest service aptitude with a focus on maintaining and enhancing client relationships
Experience in Team Management and leading sales teams to achieve and exceed targets
Proficiency in Business Development and identifying new opportunities for revenue growth
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site hospitality environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality sales is a plus
Proficiency in Salesforce FDC, OnQ, R&I, and Microsoft Office is preferred
