About the Role

Join our security AI team as a Senior Security Consultant, where you'll tackle critical challenges at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Working with government customers across defence, space, and security, you'll deliver solutions that directly protect the UK's interests.

You'll combine deep cyber security knowledge with practical AI/ML security expertise to help clients navigate emerging threats. Your work will span strategic advisory, security architecture design, and hands-on technical analysis - from assessing AI-driven risks and securing cloud environments to building resilient architectures for next-generation AI systems.

Our projects range from exploratory research into cutting-edge AI methods to delivering bespoke solutions for complex security challenges. You'll work with large-scale customer datasets and help shape both client and internal AI adoption strategies, making a tangible impact on UK security while advancing your expertise in this rapidly evolving field.

Core Duties

Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and risk analysis across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
Evaluate and secure AI/ML systems, including model governance, data pipelines, and model deployment patterns
Advise clients on AI risk management, including prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, privacy risks, and adversarial attacks
Design and recommend secure architectures for AI-enabled applications, including LLM-based systems, automation workflows, and decision-support platforms
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines - particularly around AI governance and responsible AI use
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure configurations, guardrails, and controls
Stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity and AI safety

Essential Requirements

You will have experience in many of the following:

Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting, architecture, or engineering roles
Strong understanding of security fundamentals: identity & access management, network security, encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response
Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems, LLMs, or data science pipelines
Knowledge of modern attack techniques including AI-assisted attacks, adversarial ML, and supply-chain risks
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP) and industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, MITRE ATLAS)
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent report writing, communication, and client-facing skills

Desirable

It would be great if you also had experience in some of these, but if not we'll help you with them:

Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, CEH, GIAC, or cloud security certifications
Experience with AI model evaluation, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
Understanding of AI ethics, governance, and regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, IaC, and security control integrations
