Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst III to support medium to highly complex data initiatives within our Analytics COE. This role focuses on logical data modeling, relational database design, and enterprise data quality efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL, Python, and Spark expertise and can collaborate across technical and business teams to resolve complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop logical database designs, data models, and relational data definitions
Support corporate and customer-facing information systems
Collaborate with customers, vendors, business analysts, and application development teams to resolve data flow and content issues
Participate in or lead enterprise-wide data projects, enhancements, and issue resolution
Implement and support data quality initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and standardization
Contribute to master data and hierarchy synchronization solutions

Required Qualifications

7+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years in data management and/or quality assurance
4+ years of hands-on experience with:
Advanced SQL
Python
Apache Spark
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with healthcare data
Experience in Linux environments
Hands-on experience with data quality tools
Exposure to master data management (MDM) solutions
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team settings

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
