Position : SDWAN Network Architect

Locations (multiple positions): Brest, Rennes, Indret, Lorient, France (Anyone)

Domain: Defence (strict regulatory and security framework)

Clearance: Secret Défense — required or immediate eligibility

On-site only — no remote work

Duration: Not specified (long-term project expected)

Context

As part of a major modernization program and full redesign of the client’s network infrastructures, we are seeking an SDWAN-focused Network Architect.

The mission takes place in a multi-site, highly secured environment, with key challenges such as standardization, performance optimization, and improving the reliability of LAN/WAN interconnections.

This role is 100% architecture-focused — no operations.

Technical Skills Required

Strong experience in network architecture (LAN, WAN, multi-site environments).
Excellent command of:
BGP, OSPF, MPLS
VPN, VLAN/VRF
Advanced knowledge of at least one SDWAN technology.
Ability to produce high-quality HLD/LLD and architectural documentation.
Experience with operator interconnections and hybrid WAN architectures.

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of network security: firewalls, ACL, segmentation.
Understanding of datacenter networking principles.
Experience in large-scale migrations or WAN transformation programs.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
Experience in sensitive or regulated sectors (Defence, Industrial, Government).

Candidate Profile

Secret Défense clearance mandatory (or immediate eligibility).
5–12 years of experience in network engineering or architecture.
Solid background in multi-site LAN/WAN projects.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lead technical workshops and work across multiple teams.
Autonomous, rigorous, structured, and analytical.
