About The Role
This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2026. Resume review begins in January 2026.
The Business Operations Team serves as the strategic and operational backbone of the West Coast Hub, ensuring the seamless execution of clinical development and translational science. Our mission is to bridge the gap between high level strategy and daily execution across four core pillars: Technology & Analytics, Contractual Infrastructure, External Alliances, and Organizational Advocacy. Through targeted software solutions, robust site and investigator agreement management, and the cultivation of high‑impact academic and biotech partnerships, we provide the infrastructure and advocacy necessary to accelerate Biogen’s mission and deliver life‑changing therapies.
What You’ll Do
As a Business Operations Intern within the West Coast Hub (WCH), you will work at the intersection of pharmaceutical development and technological innovation, directly contributing to this mission. Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations & Analytics, you will help build the digital infrastructure that enables our clinical teams to operate efficiently and effectively. This is not a shadowing role, you will own end‑to‑end projects requiring a blend of data analysis, process mapping, and cross‑functional collaboration. Throughout the internship, you will gain a deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle while learning to navigate the complex governance and contractual frameworks of a global biopharmaceutical organization. Your work will center around three primary projects, each designed to provide exposure to clinical operations, data workflow optimization, and webpage development, alongside support of general operational tasks
