Opportunities to genuinely shape procurement at country level don’t come along very often, this is one of those moments where the right leader can make a visible and lasting impact.

I’m partnering with a global market-leading organisation undergoing an important phase of post-acquisition integration in Morocco. They are seeking a Procurement Lead who can step into a highly visible role, work closely with senior leadership, and help bring structure, consistency and trust into the local Moroccan procurement landscape.

This is not a “business as usual” position, it’s a role for someone who enjoys transformation, influence and building credibility where processes already exist but alignment is still evolving. The opportunity offers genuine visibility, strong regional support and the chance to shape how procurement operates across the local organisation.

The scope is broad and varied, covering key indirect spend areas such as technology, telecoms, external workforce and project-based services, with the ability to draw on both local capability and established global category expertise.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Acting as the main procurement point of contact for the Morocco organisation.
Partnering closely with business leaders to embed procurement policy, process and best practice.
Driving indirect procurement initiatives across areas such as IT, telecoms, external workforce, professional services and facilities etc…
Leading and coaching a small senior buying team (2 experienced buyers).
Strengthening stakeholder trust and positioning procurement as a value-adding partner.
Supporting sourcing strategy, supplier management and demand optimisation.
Contributing into bids and strategic initiatives at an early stage.

What They’re Looking For:

Strong background in indirect procurement (preferred over automotive or direct materials).
Comfortable operating with senior leadership and challenging constructively.
Experience working in complex matrix environments.
A transformational mindset, someone who can bring people on the journey.
Confident communicator with gravitas and emotional intelligence.
International exposure or experience outside Morocco would be advantageous.
Fluent English, Arabic & French.
