Role Overview

The OpenShift Architect & Migration Specialist will design, migrate, and modernize enterprise workloads onto OpenShift platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement OpenShift architectures including cluster topology, networking, storage, and HA/DR.
Lead multi zone and multi region OpenShift deployments.
Assess applications and infrastructure for migration readiness and define migration strategies.
Execute containerization and workload migrations with minimal downtime and managed risk.
Integrate OpenShift with VMware platforms and Pure Storage solutions.
Implement Kubernetes best practices, networking, storage, and security controls.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation workflows.
Provide technical leadership, documentation, and cross team collaboration.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands on OpenShift architecture and migration experience.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD.
Experience with VMware, Pure Storage, and enterprise networking and storage.
Proficiency in Bash, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

OpenShift or Red Hat certifications.
Hybrid cloud, multi cluster, monitoring, and large scale migration experience.
