About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Enablement Specialist to join Applaud’s Product Enablement team, where you’ll create clear, user-focused enablement content that helps customers successfully adopt and use our platform.

You’ll translate complex product and technical concepts into structured, adoption-ready documentation, learning content, and self-service resources. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing, you'll help ensure content is accurate, consistent, and available at the point of release.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with complex SaaS products, is comfortable engaging with technical detail, and takes pride in producing content that genuinely helps users succeed.

What you'll be doing

Create and maintain user-focused product documentation, release notes, FAQs, and how-to content
Produce API documentation, technical references, and feature walkthroughs
Partner with Product and Engineering to turn user stories into customer-ready content
Maintain and improve the Zendesk Guide help centre (including HTML/CSS customisation)
Design learning content and microlearning using tools like Articulate
Create short-form videos and walkthroughs to support adoption
Use support insights to improve self-service effectiveness
Manage documentation updates across sprints using tools like GitHub and Aha

What we're looking for

2+ years’ experience in technical communication, product enablement, or related roles
Experience creating content for complex SaaS or enterprise software
Strong writing skills with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working with APIs, JSON, integrations, and system workflows
Experience with Zendesk Guide or similar platforms
Experience creating learning content (Articulate, Rise, or similar)
Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working remotely
