Location: Worcester

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Main Purpose of Job

As Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for overseeing compliance by the managing agent and FM supplier base, with the client’s supplier management protocols. This role involves supplier relationship management, risk management and data analysis across a national supplier base.

Position in Organisation

This role reports to the Account Director (first 6 months) and once integrated the Associate Director (Asset Management).

Main Responsibilities

Implement the client’s procurement protocols including financial crime screening, security and data audits for the managing agents working across the portfolio.
Oversee the implementation (in partnership with managing agents) the client’s procurement protocols including financial crime screening, security and data audits for the 3rd party supplier network working across the portfolio.
Lead supplier governance activity across the managing agent and 3rd party supplier base, including monthly performance management reviews
Lead supplier due diligence, maintaining a risk register, coordinating risk reviews, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Carry out regular audits and annual supplier reviews across the portfolio, reporting to the client as necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with client standards.
Develop and implement management strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

Appropriate degree and/or HND/HNC qualification.
Professional body membership

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Proven experience in supplier management and governance
Excellent analytical and programme management abilities
Excellent ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on process and continuous improvement.
Commitment to ethical procurement practices and compliance.
