Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Sales & Account Manager to join our growing team! With opportunities available in both Vancouver Island and the Vancouver area.

This position is more than just sales; it’s about partner collaboration and taking the time to understand each client's unique technology integration requirements.

 

Who We Are

Pacificom is a systems integrator providing telecommunications, building security and automation, audio-video, life safety, and technology integration services for commercial, multi-residential, and institutional clients throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Client Relationship Management

Effectively communicate Pacificom’s entire service offerings and deliver solutions aligned to customer requirements.
Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of accounts through regular follow-ups, check-ins, and upselling opportunities.
Take full ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring action items are completed and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Prepare proposals, service and maintenance contracts, and reports to support ongoing business to business relationships.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities, opportunities, and account status within a CRM, tracking key metrics to ensure success.

 

Sales & Growth

Prospect and develop new business through direct engagement with business owners and key decision-makers.
Work closely with the Director of Sales to negotiate terms and close deals in support of the sales process.
Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, close deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Participate in tradeshows and industry events as required to support business development and networking efforts.

 Technical Training

 Be able and capable to provide clients with basic technical assistance and training on various products offered as part of our solutions
 Address technical issues that may arise, coordinating with the Service Manager and their team as necessary
Conduct product demonstrations and onboarding sessions to enhance client understanding

Required Skills

Experience selling directly to business owners or senior decision-makers.
Demonstrated success in managing and expanding client accounts.
Strong communication skills with the ability to actively listen and identify client needs.
Highly organized, with strong follow-through and task management skills.
Proficient in using CRM systems for opportunity and account management.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to pursue new business opportunities.
Knowledge of the healthcare, education, and housing industries is considered an asset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred but not required.
