Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Modeller with strong Capital Markets domain expertise to accelerate ongoing data modelling initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and enhancing enterprise data models and supporting complex capital markets use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and accelerate data modelling efforts for Capital Markets initiatives.
Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Work on enterprise / integration data models (IDC).
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable data models.
Ensure alignment with Capital Markets data standards, reporting, and analytics needs.
Review, optimize, and enhance existing data models for performance and data quality.
Provide best practices, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
Support documentation, data lineage, and metadata management activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Data Modelling.
Strong hands-on experience as a Senior Data Modeller within Capital Markets.
Solid knowledge of Capital Markets domains (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Risk, Liquidity, Reporting).
Experience with IDC / Enterprise Data Models.
Expertise in relational and dimensional data modelling (3NF, Star, Snowflake).
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Experience working closely with data engineering teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in large banking or financial services environments.
Exposure to big data or cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of regulatory or risk reporting data models.
