About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate Java Engineer who is responsible for building and evolving enterprise-scale platforms that deliver critical metadata, telemetry, and actionable insights related to data center infrastructure.
The team focuses on areas such as Sustainability Reporting, Power, and Environmental Analytics, enabling customers to make data-driven decisions with transparency and confidence.
This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and operate highly scalable, cloud-native products in a DevSecOps and Agile environment while collaborating with a globally distributed team.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with Product Management and key stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable business solutions
Design and develop highly available, secure, data-intensive, distributed applications
Build microservices and RESTful APIs aligned with industry standards
Operate in a DevSecOps environment with a quality-first mindset
Participate in system design discussions, peer code reviews, and continuous backlog grooming
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while meeting SLA commitments
Work independently within a globally distributed development team
Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies to drive innovation
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years of hands-on Java development experience
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Concurrency, Design Patterns, and Best Practices
Expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Data/JPA, REST APIs, Swagger, Maven, Hibernate, JUnit
Experience with performance and stress testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
Strong data modeling skills using RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience using Apache Kafka or other event-streaming platforms
Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and TDD practices
Exposure to React is a plus (not mandatory)
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
