Job Description
The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a new cloud‑native SaaS platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), driving full‑lifecycle execution across planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cross‑team coordination. The role requires strong technical fluency in GCP architecture, networking, IAM, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), along with the ability to translate business needs into actionable engineering workstreams. This position oversees risk management, compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, and NIST, and ensures disciplined change management and quality assurance. Acting as the primary liaison between engineering teams and executive leadership, the manager provides clear communication, fosters collaboration, and promotes Agile best practices. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in technical project/program management with at least 3 years leading cloud or SaaS initiatives, hands‑on experience delivering large‑scale GCP or multi‑cloud projects, and strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred experience includes platform engineering, microservices, service mesh (Istio), high‑availability SaaS design, disaster recovery, AI‑driven project management tools, and GCP professional certifications.
Required Skills & Experience
5-7+ years in technical project/program management
Experience working on Infrastructure projects
3+ years leading cloud/SaaS initiatives
Familiarity with GCP services (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Interconnect, Kubernetes/GKE).
Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred
Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hr
