Position Title: Business Analyst – Intermediate

Line of Service: Assurance

Location: Toronto – 18 York (Hybrid: WFH + into office to work once in a while)

Contract Duration: February 2, 2026 – March 31, 2026

Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST (7.5 hrs./day, 1 hr. unpaid lunch)

Role Summary

The Intermediate Business Analyst will support Client’s Assurance practice by developing high‑quality documentation for contingency plans associated with third‑party vendor exits. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to capture business needs and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive documentation for planned and stressed exits of third‑party vendors (e.g., contract end, bankruptcy, sanctions).
Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather business needs and assess current-state processes.
Work closely with SMEs to identify and document contingency plans using established templates.
Produce high-quality deliverables aligned with Client standards and project timelines.
Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, or related field.

Required Experience

Experience working on Risk/Regulatory initiatives within large banking, financial, or insurance organizations.
5+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience.
3+ years’ experience working on Agile projects.
Strong skills in:
Business Process Mapping
Process Analysis
Business Process Reengineering

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Must Have.

Core Competencies

Strong analytical and documentation quality skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong facilitation and requirements elicitation skills.
