This Position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support a strategic improvement project focused on material management within our manufacturing operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic industrial environment. This role is part of a lean challenge competition between manufacturing sites.

The work model for the role is on site.

Responsibilities

Prepare drawings package for vendors
Analyze materials and define manufacturing parameters
Validate materials status under engineering change process
Prepare 2D drawings for vendors
Prepare drawings package for manufacturing
Support production for various inquiries
Validate non-conformities
Tools: Creo 3D, Windchill PLM, SAP

Qualification

Education: Bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with CAD 3D
Knowledge of MS Office software.
Ability to travel to our office in St Laurent (internship is primarily in-person).
Good communication skills in French and English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
