Position Title: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Remote
Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret Clearance (required prior to start; no exceptions)

Pay Rate: $65/hr w2
Position Description: Join a high-impact team supporting critical mission systems in a secure environment. As a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will design robust database solutions, configure and optimize Oracle/WebLogic applications to align with business processes, lead technical efforts, and ensure reliable performance through rigorous testing and issue resolution. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, meaningful projects while collaborating with cross-functional experts—including DBAs, security analysts, and business stakeholders—to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet evolving organizational requirements.
Configure Oracle/WebLogic applications to support documented business processes; provide technical designs, module testing, and direction to peer developers.
Develop, debug, and maintain PL/SQL components including functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.
Write and optimize SQL across DDL, DQL (simple/aggregated/correlated subqueries), DML, and DCL operations.
Create, execute, and document comprehensive tests to validate functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues; document findings to support project success.
Research solutions for maintenance and development needs; interact effectively with database administrators, security teams, and end users.
Required Skills/Education:
Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and verifiable prior to start).
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c-19c.
Proven expertise with Oracle WebLogic Server 12c (configuration, deployment, and administration).
Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL development and debugging (functions, procedures, packages, triggers).
Deep knowledge of SQL commands and best practices:
DDL (CREATE, ALTER, DROP, TRUNCATE, etc.)
DQL (simple SELECT, aggregated queries, correlated subqueries)
DML and DCL (GRANT, REVOKE, etc.)
Familiarity with tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Fortify, Microsoft Excel, and deployment/repository workflows.
Experience in database design (conceptual/logical/physical modeling) and application configuration in enterprise environments.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a team-oriented, cleared setting.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred; equivalent experience considered).
