Role Overview: Software Developer

This role offers the opportunity to work on the development and improvement of an established product range, while also contributing to future innovations. You will collaborate closely with other developers, project managers, and the software support team to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

The position is office-based and would suit a motivated developer who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and enhance existing software products

· Contribute to future product innovations and new features

· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle

· Work closely with project managers and fellow developers

· Assist the software support team with technical queries

· Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices

Key Requirements:

· Commercial experience as a Software Developer (ideally 3+ years)

· Strong Java development experience

· Experience using modern IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or Visual Studio Code

· Knowledge of Firebird SQL

· Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, and jQuery

· C# experience desirable

· Degree in a software-related subject preferred

· Self-motivated, team-focused, and naturally curious

Package:

· Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (flexible depending on experience, junior level also considered)
