Summer 2026 Editorial Internship Opportunities

GIE Media based just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking two summer interns to work with different groups in B2B magazine publishing. The ideal candidate should be a journalism, communications or English major available to work 35 to 40 hours per week between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for approximately 12 weeks. The position will include writing features and news articles, researching, editing, proof reading, website posting, generating story ideas, social media management and other various duties. Interns will be paid $18/hour.

Qualifications:

-Must be going into junior or senior year, and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or English.

-Experience working on/contributing articles to student newspaper/magazine

-Knowledge of AP Style

-Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite; content management system and Outlook background a plus

-Excellent attention to detail, spelling and grammar skills

-Ability to work in team environment and meet deadlines
