Technical Systems Analyst
Bring your technical expertise and passion for process optimization to our innovative team as a Technical Systems Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by enhancing the efficiency, resilience, and performance of our firm/enterprise operations.
Tasks, Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee system and network administration, including end-user support, server management, backup management, Wi-Fi/network management, and firewall maintenance.
Configure and maintain information systems and applications, ensuring seamless integration and operation across platforms—including Microsoft Dynamics (Engage CRM applications).
Troubleshoot and redesign system components in response to new modifications and customizations, optimizing the functionality of the tech stack.
Lead and execute development, testing, and/or system maintenance tasks as needed.
Provide front-line technical support: resolve user problems, determine root causes, and escalate complex issues as necessary.
Collaborate with business and technology partners to design, construct, and operate robust, built-for-purpose platforms.
Apply up-to-date cybersecurity and risk management techniques, ensuring the security and resilience of critical systems.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Demonstrate outstanding teamwork, interpersonal communication, and an ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with new systems and processes; demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Application Lifecycle Management: Experience in every stage—from initial design through testing, deployment, maintenance, and sunsetting.
Application Maintenance & Monitoring, proficient in keeping applications updated, secure, and running at peak efficiency.
Ability to design solutions that align with both technical and business requirements.
Data and Analytics: Understanding of data analysis, metadata management, and reporting techniques.
Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Privacy & Regulation: Awareness and implementation of data security, privacy laws, compliance needs, and best practices.
Disaster recovery and business continuity planning experience.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google platforms, Microsoft Dynamics (Engage CRM base), and SAP applications.
Investment Portfolio Management knowledge is a strong asset.
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems. Related technology, quantitative field, business process optimization, coursework or certifications in business analysis and project management are also desired but not required.
