Salesforce Consultant (Contract)
Wokingham (Hybrid) | £550/day (Inside IR35) | 6-month contract
Our client, a top global organization, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Consultant to lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of complex Salesforce solutions across business-critical programmes. You will play a senior, hands-on role delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions while leading technical teams and engaging directly with business stakeholders. This role requires strong technical expertise across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce data modelling, combined with excellent stakeholder engagement and delivery leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Salesforce implementations from requirements through to delivery and deployment
Facilitate business analysis workshops to capture business goals, processes, and pain points
Translate requirements into functional and technical designs
Design and build data models, security models, user interfaces, and automation
Deliver custom development using Apex, LWC, Triggers, and Batch processes
Configure Salesforce using Flows, layouts, and business workflows
Oversee deployments, integrations, and release management using version control tools such as Bitbucket
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
Manage stakeholders, risks, issues, and delivery milestones
Ensure high-quality customer engagement and successful outcomes
Essential Skills & Experience
15+ years overall experience, including 15+ years of Salesforce technical delivery
Strong experience running business analysis workshops and translating outcomes into solutions
Deep understanding of the Salesforce object model and relationships
Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, Triggers, Batch, and integrations
Strong experience with Flows, layouts, and Salesforce configuration
Experience leading technical teams and complex delivery programmes
Ability to manage estimates, timelines, and milestones
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience using version control tools (e.g. Bitbucket)
Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification (PD2 highly desirable)
