Frontend Engineer

Location: NYC (in-person)

Compensation: $200,000 to $300,000 + equity

Our client is a venture-backed startup hiring a Frontend Engineer to help build and scale their core product. You’ll work closely with design, product, and engineering leadership to deliver high-quality UI, shape the frontend architecture, and drive major feature development.

What You’ll Do

Build and own user-facing features end to end with a focus on React and TypeScript
Partner with design and product to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive experiences
Architect scalable and maintainable frontend systems and reusable component libraries
Collaborate cross-functionally to ship high-impact features quickly and reliably
Contribute to best practices around frontend performance, testing, and code quality

Who You Are

Hands-on frontend engineer with experience in fast-paced environments
Strong in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling
Comfortable integrating APIs, managing UI state, and optimizing performance
Familiar with deploying modern web applications to cloud environments
Ownership-driven and excited to build, iterate, and ship quickly
