Market Risk Analyst – Digital Assets

A leading financial services firm operating a regulated digital asset clearing activity is seeking a Market Risk Analyst to join its First Line Risk function.

This role sits at the heart of daily market risk oversight for Bitcoin futures and options, supporting the risk framework, models, and operational resilience of a production clearing environment.

Key responsibilities

Daily monitoring of market risk exposures for digital asset derivatives
Analysis and understanding of risk calculation algorithms and methodologies
Contribution to the evolution of market risk models, controls, and systems
Assessment of operational risks and participation in resilience activities (BIA, BCP, control reviews)
Coordination with internal stakeholders across risk, technology, and operations
Early identification and escalation of risk issues and control weaknesses

Required profile

Strong foundations in financial mathematics and risk modelling (mandatory)
Solid theoretical knowledge of derivatives and options (pricing models, Greeks)
Experience in market risk monitoring and project delivery
Hands-on knowledge of Python and Jupyter Notebooks
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in high-accountability environments

Minimum availability: 9 months
