Position: Senior Software Developer
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Senior Software Developer to provide IT technical expertise supporting the sustainment and enhancement of police systems. The role ensures reliable integration, performance, and service delivery across critical applications.
Scope
The Senior Software Developer will:
Lead design and systems analysis for diverse application development activities.
Develop web-based applications using .NET, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, and Azure DevOps.
Design and implement enterprise service bus and interface solutions (IBM ACE/IIB, Oracle, SQL Server, .NET, ESQL, Azure DevOps, WCF
Assignment Deliverables
Design and implement integration solutions.
Develop and maintain application code and scripts.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Proficiency in IBM ACE, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere Message Broker, and IBM MQ.
Familiarity with .NET application development technologies and frameworks.
Knowledge of integration technologies and protocols (REST, SOAP).
Strong expertise in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
Nice to Have:
Database management experience (Oracle, PL/SQL).
Reverse/forward proxy configuration and server management.
Working knowledge of ArcGIS and APIs.
Security Clearance
