Data Centre Analyst - 6 months - Hybrid/Wokingham
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Analyst to support the safe, reliable and compliant operation of a data centre estate. The role will focus on operational assurance, asset management, change control and incident support, ensuring all services housed within the data centre are protected and auditable.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of the data centre estate
Conduct regular IT asset audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate records within Nlyte or equivalent DCIM tools to track capacity and utilisation
Manage risk and operational changes through the Change Control process
Raise and manage change and incident tickets as required
Provide incident management support in line with agreed SLAs
Represent the data centre function in CABs, workshops and cross-functional meetings
Review and validate technical designs to ensure safe installation and supportability
Deliver data centre inductions and maintain access records
Support internal and external audits, including preparation and evidence gathering
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong experience working in a data centre operations or infrastructure environment
Proven knowledge of data centre asset management and audit processes
Hands-on experience with DCIM tools (Nlyte or similar)
Solid understanding of Change, Incident and Problem Management
Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments
Ability to assess technical designs for data centre compatibility and risk
Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with onsite requirements
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Formal ITIL certification
Experience supporting regulatory or compliance audits
Background working in large, enterprise data centre environments
Working Pattern:
Hybrid working
3 days per week onsite in Wokingham
Contract Details:
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Wokingham/WFH
Day Rate: £300 Per Day - £400 Per Day
Start Date: ASAP
