Cyber Security Manager job in Lincoln, Nebraska
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to Manage enterprise security architecture and identity access management (IAM) initiatives, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and secure system integration. Oversee cybersecurity operations, monitor threats, and maintain security posture while driving digital identity transformation. Collaborate across departments to optimize security processes and support organizational goals.
Pay/Salary Range: $115,000/year to $140,000/year. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead IAM and cybersecurity projects, managing scope, cost, and timelines.
Supervise and develop technical staff; handle recruitment and performance management.
Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and audit requirements.
Oversee user account administration, access controls, and incident monitoring.
Prepare and distribute security reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training.
Manage IAM cybersecurity budgets and risk analysis.
Stay current on industry trends and implement best practices.
Required Skills
Expertise in IAM concepts (SSO, RBAC, identity federation) and cybersecurity.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and Epic integration.
Ability to manage complex technical projects and mentor teams.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
5+ years in system design and support; 2+ years in management.
Experience with IAM and cybersecurity required.
Certifications
CIAM, CIMP, Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CISM required.
