Job Specifications

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based data pipelines and cloud-native applications
Build and manage ETL workflows using AWS Glue
Develop and optimize data storage solutions using Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift
Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code for data processing and automation
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, cost, and security
Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices and governance standards
Document architecture, workflows, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience developing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Hands-on experience with:
AWS Glue (ETL, Crawlers, Jobs)
Amazon S3 (data lakes, lifecycle policies)
Amazon Redshift (data warehousing, performance tuning)
Python (data processing, scripting, automation)
AWS CDK (TypeScript or Python preferred)
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)
Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS) is a plus
